26 May - Completion Of The Acquisition Of The 100.0% interest In North Gem Trust And The 100.0% Interest In Its Trustee-Manager As An Interested Person Transaction

  • Following the completion of the Acquisition, HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited, in its capacity as the trustee of FCT, now holds 100.0% interest in each of North Gem Trust and Frasers Property North Gem Trustee Pte. Ltd., the Trustee-Manager of North Gem Trust, and an effective 100.0% interest in the retail mall known as “Northpoint City South Wing” located at 1 Northpoint Drive, Singapore 768019.

28 May - CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Deepens Presence In Singapore With Accretive Acquisitions Of Two Prime Properties For Approximately S$700 Million

  • Announce the proposed acquisitions of 9 Tai Seng Drive, a Tier III colocation data centre in Singapore, and 5 Science Park Drive, a premium business space property in Singapore (collectively, the “Proposed Acquisitions”). The total purchase consideration for these acquisitions is approximately S$700.2 million.

  • The two properties are 100% leased to reputable and well-established end users and tenants in the digital, e-commerce and financial services industries reflecting our commitment to steer CLAR’s portfolio towards the technology sector

22 May - Completion Of Divestment Of Property Known As Peachtree Located In Atlanta, Georgia

  • COMPLETION OF PEACHTREE DIVESTMENT
    • Further to the Divestment Announcement, the MRA Amendment Announcement and the Circular, Manulife US Real Estate Management Pte. Ltd., as manager of Manulife US REIT (the “Manager”), is pleased to announce that Manulife US REIT, through an indirect wholly- owned subsidiary, HANCOCK S-REIT ATL LLC, has on 27 May 2025 (U.S. time) completed the divestment of the Property to SSC VII INVESTOR, LLC, an unrelated third-party purchaser, pursuant to the Disposition Mandate. Following the Peachtree Divestment, Manulife US REIT’s portfolio consists of seven office properties in the United States located in Arizona, California, Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, D.C..

  • FULFILMENT OF CONDITION PRECEDENT FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE MASTER RESTRUCTURING AGREEMENT
    • In the MRA Amendment Announcement, it was highlighted that the (i) amendments to the Master Restructuring Agreement to extend the Disposal Deadline to 31 December 2025; and (ii) approval for the Additional Loan Repayments, were subject to the condition that at least US$121.0 million of disposal proceeds (subject to true-up on transaction costs and adjustments) are received from the divestment of Peachtree by 30 June 2025. With the completion of the Peachtree Divestment and the receipt of net proceeds1 from the sale, the Manager is pleased to announce that this condition has been fulfilled.

Technical Analysis of FTSE ST REIT Index (FSTAS351020)


FTSE ST Real Estate Investment Trusts (FTSE ST REIT Index) decreased from 628.61 to 631.68 (0.49%) compared to last month's update. Following the flash crash in April 2025 due to Trump’s Tariff, the REIT index get close to similar level last seen in the March 2020 COVID crash (586). It has since recovered, but not fully. Immediate support is at 622, tested 4 times between April 2024 and most recently on 15th May.

•    Short-term direction: Sideways
•    Medium-term direction: Sideways
•    Long-term direction: Sideways
•    Immediate Support: Blue Support Line (622), followed by 586 (Mar 2020 crash)
•    Immediate Resistance: 50D SMA and 200D SMA
